Feline mittens is a digital knitting pattern for the softest mittens with long sleeves and beautiful details.  these mittens are perfect for both winter sports as well as a nice walk in the city. This is a digital pattern only, and can be downloaded upon purchase.

Size: teens (small lady) large lady / men

Pattern written in European / metric system

Knitting gauge: 24 stitches = 10 cm stockinette stitch.

Yarn: 50 (100) 100 grams Rauma inca alpaca 50 grams = 175 meters

held together with

25 (25) 50 grams Sandnes Tynn silk mohair 25 grams = 220 meters or Rauma Plum 25 grams = 250 meters

Yarn option: single strand Rauma Tumi

50 grams = 130 meters

Needles: 3.5 mm double pointed needles or a long circular needle if you prefer the magic loop technique,

Make sure to use the needle size needed to obtain the correct knitting gauge.

 Workflow: The mittens are worked from the bottom. Cast on using Italian cast on / tubular cast on technique and double knitting for extra elasticity.  The magic loop technique is recommended.

Start with a long ribbing using one knit trough back loop, one purl stitch Change to stockinette stitch for the hand of the mitten.  Increases are made to thumb gusset on one side of the mitten, which means that the mittens can be worn on both the right and left hand.  There is no difference between the two mittens.

The mitten is knitted on the same needle throughout.
